Toronto Treats

On our trip to Toronto, we picked up some nice treats from two cute little bakeries. ❤

Our first stop was at Delysées Authentic French Bakery where we picked up a box filled with some delicious macarons. The presentation is very chic with the square black box (it even had a magnetic clasp), the golden logo and the monochrome print inside!

The flavours we chose were : Crème Brulée, Strawberry, Raspberry Buttercream, Cookie & Cream, Hazelnut, Roasted Pistachio, Blueberry Buttercream, Strawberry Buttercream and Madagascar Vanilla. They were all very tasty and we were very impressed by their texture! It was very hard to pick only 9 flavours in their vast selection of macarons.

We also loved how unique each flavour looked with their bright colours and delicate decoration (such as the golden patterns and the roasted effect)!

We would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area to go pick up a little box of these wonderful goodies ❤ The staff is very sweet and offered help as soon as we entered the bakery. Next time, we’ll be sure to try their lovely Éclairs which seemed very tempting!

The other place we went to was Uncle Tetsu’s Bake where we picke up Cheesecake Tarts both the original recipe and the matcha version.

The most fun part about those treats is that you can savour them in different ways : frozen, just out of the fridge or warmed up in the oven.

Obviously, we tried every different ways which were all delicious, but my personal favourite was the original Cheese Tart when it was frozen. It tasted like a very creamy ice cream! On the opposite, my girlfriend preferred them when they were all melty and warm.

Next time we go to Toronto, we’ll be sure to stop there again!
